The Odienné Drinking Water Supply Reinforcement System treats 8,000 m3 of water drawn each day from the Kouroukélé river and provides Odienné and the surrounding area with 12,000 m3 of drinking water, more than meeting the estimated need for 7,380 m3 of drinking water. This project will protect the people of Odienné from a lack of drinking water until 2040.
